Cafe' Dominique is downtown Houma’s newest location for a fresh, delicious and innovative cuisine. Catering to the indulgent diner, as well as the health conscious foodie, our goal is to bring a new kind of dinning experience to the bayou by using mostly organic produce, all natural and free range meats, along side the wonderful seafood harvested from our local waters. It is our desire to serve a diverse menu of eclectic fare ranging from traditional French Country and Creole, to elegant Mediterranean and the sweet and spice of East Asian cuisine.

As a venue, Café Dominique cannot be rivaled locally. Nestled on the banks of Bayou Terrebonne, our café features several unique environments that can be enjoyed day or night. At the center of our dining room is our full service bar, serving not only the coolest cocktails but also the hottest dishes. Relax and have dinner or a drink in the plush seating of our street side lounge. For the formal table dinner, the heart of the restaurant comfortably seats over 80 at either one of our lengthy tables or at our stylish wall banquets.

But the true treasure of Café Dominique is our spacious bayou side deck and French Quarter style patio. Old world gas lanterns flickering on brick columns lend to the ambiance that makes our patio deck a great place to enjoy a crisp salad or a fine glass of wine.

Another area that separates Café Dominique is our in-house bakery. Daily fresh baked artisan breads, along with innovative desserts and pastries will be available at our dessert counter to enjoy in or to take out.
